Maryland Poll

  • Another poll provides more evidence of how closely divided Marylanders are on same-sex marriage. The results fall within the margin of error, meaning the results are a statistical dead heat.
  • (Washington Post)
  • When Maryland legalized same-sex marriage earlier this year, Gov. Martin OMalley (D) praised his state as a leader on the issue.
  • (Huffington Post)
  • The latest Rasmussen poll of likely Republican voters in Maryland finds Mitt Romney well ahead of his rivals: Republican front-runner Mitt Romney is well ahead of his chief rival Rick Santorum in Maryland with that state's primary less than a week away.
  • (Weekly Standard)
  • The polls confirm that fact. A recent one by Gonzales Research and Marketing Strategies indicates 49 percent of Maryland voters support same-sex marriage and 47 percent are opposed.

  • Despite same-sex marriage being legalized in Maryland, a new poll shows the states residents are split on the issue.

  • When Maryland voters go to the polls on Tuesday, they would do well to consider not just which of them is most conservative, or which would present the starkest contrast with President Barack Obama, but which of them would be best able to govern if elected.

  • Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on election day. If you are in line at 8 p.m., you will be allowed to vote no matter how long the line is. You can find your polling location if you are a registered voter on the website for the Maryland Elections Center.

  • (Baltimore Sun)
  • Mitt Romney is expected to have an easy win there and in Maryland. Wisconsin began looking like a close race, with Santorum in the lead. But in the past week or so, the numbers have flipped and now Romney is ahead in the polls.
