  1. My granddaughter was born with nystagmus and was diagnosed at six months of age. We were told there was nothing that could be done about it other than put her in glasses. She is also colorblind but that was not diagnosed until later. Since I had read up on vitamins and their benefits I knew that one benefit of Vitamon E was that it was good for muscles and since the eye movement involved muscles I suggest to my daughter that she give her Vitamin E. At first she had the oil for the gelcaps squirted into her mouth. She did not mind the taste and as she got older she chewed them up. They were 100 units per gelcap. Miracle of miracles the shifting slowly stopped until her eyes were no longer shifting. All the eye doctors that she has seen were told about it in hope that they would tell others who had this problem about it. I wish there was some way I could get this information to Lola and her mother, Barbara.
