Whopper spit case

  • Over the past few years, the Washington State Supreme Court, led by Chief Justice Barbara A. Madsen, has heard cases involving meth addicts, stolen BMWs, coffee shop burglaries and taxes on cable TV.

  • A Washington sheriff's deputy who claims he suffered emotional distress after a Burger King worker spit in his Whopper will get his day in court, just not the one he wanted. The King, it seems, would not be pleased.
