Pit bull adoption

  • WASHINGTON -- Theres good news for pit bulls and the people who love them. In December, HuffPost reported on a Washington Humane Society pit bull outreach program ending when PetSmart Charities didnt renew its funding.

  • The Oshkosh Area Humane Society has received a $500 Perfect Match Grant Award from Animal Farm Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to securing equal treatment and opportunity for pit bull dogs.

  • A four-year-old Pit Bull that was taken, but later found unharmed from a Marathon pet adoption center is still available for adoption.

  • Barron is an affectionate pit bull available for adoption at the county shelter. Although pit bulls come with a stigma, this dog has proved himself to be loving and good around other animals. 'Some believe a dog is a dog, but it's not.
