Rolling Thunder Bergdahl

  • WASHINGTON -- The father of a U.S. soldier who was taken prisoner in Afghanistan thanked the motorcycle riders of Rolling Thunder on Sunday for raising awareness of missing-in-action troops and prisoners of war.

  • Bowe Bergdahl, who has been held captive by the Taliban in Afghanistan since 2009. The ride pays tribute to veterans and service members who never made it home. The Rolling Thunder rally was preceded by the Ride of the Patriots in Fairfax.
