Florida poll

- Florida voters aren't sure if they want Las Vegas-style casinos in the state, but they are certain they don't want Tallahassee to make the decision, according to a new poll by The Miami Herald and other news organizations released late Sunday.
(Miami Herald)- The Miami Herald and Tampa Bay Times have a poll out this morning showing Mitt Romneys Florida lead in double digits, putting him up over Gingrich by 42 percent to 31 percent. Its a lead that covers every part of the state.
(Politico.com)- A new InsiderAdvantage poll conducted Sunday night of likely Republican voters in the state of Florida shows a significant surge for Newt Gingrich. The poll has Romney leading with 36 percent of voters, followed by Gingrich at 31 percent.
